Meet your Sage Creek Foundation 2024-2025 Board of Directors!

Jaime Householder serves as President.  Jaime is the owner and Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser at Householder Appraisals, where she enjoys the flexibility her work offers for her family. Having earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science from California State University at San Marcos and a Master of Public Administration from Golden Gate University, Jaime brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to her role. She loves the supportive and kind community of parents, students, and staff at Sage Creek High School, and values the numerous opportunities the school provides for students to pursue their authentic selves. Her favorite color is Pacific Ocean Blue, and she's a big fan of spicy Thai food. The iconic "Smells Like Teen Spirit" takes her back to her high school days, where math was her favorite subject. Jaime once dreamed of playing first base for the Padres, but now she channels her love for volunteering into her work with the Sage Creek Foundation Board. She is dedicated to supporting all students and ensuring they have a high school experience that builds a solid foundation for their futures.

Rachel Alexander serves as Secretary.  Rachel is the Director of Finance at PEO C4I, a Navy organization, where she proudly supports today's warfighters by ensuring they have the tools necessary to defend our country—a role inspired by her long line of military officers. With a BS in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience from UCSD (Revelle) that she rarely uses, Rachel's passion for numbers and logistics shines through in her professional life. New to Sage Creek High School, Rachel is already captivated by its beautiful campus and the comprehensive opportunities it offers students. Her favorite colors are orange and yellow, and she's still raving about the best meal she ever had at Monkeypod in Maui. Reminiscing about her high school days, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" transports her back to carefree drives with friends, and she fondly recalls her love for math and science. Though she once dreamed of being a doctor, life led her to a fulfilling career in finance. Joining the Foundation Board, Rachel is eager to support the diverse extracurricular activities at Sage Creek and looks forward to collaborating with fellow board members to enrich the student experience.

Shanna Kane serves as the Treasurer.  Shanna is the Director of Finance at Argonaut Manufacturing Services, where she loves working for an amazing company that improves lives. With Master's Degrees in Finance and Accounting, Shanna brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. She is a proud supporter of Sage Creek High School, valuing its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, beautiful campus, and diverse academic and extracurricular programs. Enthusiastic about all colors and a fan of sushi, Shanna's high school years were soundtracked by Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit," and she enjoyed both Math and Art as her favorite subjects. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a forensic psychiatrist. Shanna joined the Foundation Board to ensure that students continue to have access to sports, arts, and academic extracurriculars, fostering a well-rounded education for all.

Lalitha Nataraj serves as Academics Liaison. Lalitha is the Social Sciences Librarian at CSU San Marcos; prior to working in academia, she had a long career as a youth services librarian in San Diego area libraries. She holds a BA in English and Women's Studies from UC Berkeley and an MLIS from UCLA. At Sage Creek High School, Lalitha appreciates how students are encouraged to cultivate a service-oriented mindset and deepen their involvement with local communities. Her favorite colors are purple-pink and mint green, and she loves her mother's home-cooked Indian food. Her high school soundscape primarily included The Smiths, The Cranberries, and The Cure--played on constant repeat as she completed her chemistry homework (her favorite subject). Lalitha joined the Foundation Board as academic liaison because she strongly believes in providing access to a variety of scholastic activities that inspire students and hopefully lead them onto a path of lifelong learning.

Natalie Emmons serves as Athletics Liaison. Natalie is the Manager of the Project Management Office responsible for New Product Development at Hunter Industries.  With an impressive academic background featuring a dual major in Neurophysiology and Psychology from UC Davis and an MBA from Cal State San Marcos, Natalie brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her high school favorites, Math and Biology, laid the groundwork for her love of turning innovative ideas into successful products in the landscape industry. A passionate dog lover and proud owner of her #1 fur ball, Pepper, Natalie thrives on the challenges of coordinating teams and managing complex projects. She is equally enthusiastic about her involvement with the Sage Creek Foundation Board, driven by her pride as a parent of two Bobcats and her admiration for the school's dedication to excellence. Natalie values the rich opportunities Sage Creek provides and is eager to share her enthusiasm with the broader Carlsbad community.

Jaclyn Pampel serves as Vice President of Development.  Jaclyn is the Pro Bono Partner and Director of North America Pro Bono at Baker McKenzie, where she has thrived for almost 20 years, a testament to the firm's positive work atmosphere and culture of friendship. Passionate about pro bono work, Jaclyn loves leveraging her legal skills and those of her colleagues to ensure access to justice for those who need it most. She holds a BA in History and a BS in Finance from Valparaiso University, and a JD from Emory University School of Law. At Sage Creek High School, Jaclyn appreciates the small school feel with big school opportunities. Her favorite colors are green and a shade of orange that feels like happy hour at twilight, and she relishes any meal where Mexican and vegetarian cuisines collide. High school memories are soundtracked by Prince and TLC, with History being her favorite subject. While she always aspired to be a lawyer, she once dreamt of being President of the United States. Jaclyn joined the Foundation Board because she fundamentally believes in the power of community and parental involvement in schools.

Dr. Cheryl Rogow serves as the VAPA Liaison. Cheryl is a Psychology Consultant with R3 Continuum, an Adjunct Professor at Ball State University, and a Trainer with the Positive Coaching Alliance. She holds degrees from Cornell University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and West Virginia University, where she earned her Ed.D. in Sport & Exercise Psychology. Passionate about helping executives, athletes, and students maximize their potential, she values Sage Creek High School’s culture of care. Cheryl's favorite color is black, and she loves Korean BBQ! Journey’s “Faithfully” takes her back to her high school days where PE was her favorite subject. A former aspiring pediatrician who discovered her calling in guiding others through mental rather than physical challenges, Dr. Rogow joined the Foundation Board to make a positive impact on the programs that her family loves and to support the greater SCHS community.
