Sage Creek Academics Program

 

Sage Creek High School is home of the BOBCATS where the mottos are Be You. Be Your B.E.S.T. and  B.E.S.T. C2.A.T.S.” It is one of two comprehensive public high schools in the Carlsbad Unified School  District and is located in Carlsbad, CA. Sage Creek distinguishes itself as an academically diverse and highly motivated student community with complementary Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curricular pathways to the traditional high school course offerings.

Sage Creek High School is accredited by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC) and was founded in 2013 with an inaugural class of 308 freshman students. It has since grown to a community of over 1400 students.

Sage Creek has also received numerous State and national recognitions. In 2021, SCHS was named a California Distinguished School. Sage Creek High School was recognized by the College Board as an 2022-23 Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll honoree, awarded to high schools that maximize college readiness. Sage Creek also earned the 2022-2023 AP Access Award, honoring schools that demonstrate a commitment to equitable access to advanced coursework. in US News was recognized in 2024 as #765 in US public high schools, #102 in public California high schools, and #8 in San Diego County public high schools for its exceptional faculty, academic and extracurricular programs for students.
