Dean Gerdeman

Assitant to CFO 

Dean Gerdeman serves as the Assistant to the CFO of the Sage Creek Foundation. Dean is a Senior Director at American Institutes for Research, a not-for-profit social and behavioral research firm. He has 15 years of experience in education research and consulting, including working with federal and state agencies, school districts, and foundations. Dean has managed project funds and accounts in the public and private sector. He has a Ph.D. in education from UCLA.

Dean and his family moved to Carlsbad in 2014 for the great schools and community. He has a freshman son at Sage Creek High School and another son at Aviara Oaks Middle School. As a member of the foundation board, Dean wants to help ensure that Sage Creek High School has the resources to provide an enriched experience for all of our students.
